2nd Annual Grand Rodeo of San Carlos

The Rodeo is scheduled for November 29th and 30th this year. It will be located at the La Posada Condominiums again. It is fun for the entire family. Many rodeo events, Rodeo Clowns and of course, tacos and cervezas!

Starting Thursday afternoon November 27th Fiesta Bikers will celebrate International Motorcycle week with festivities at the Paradio Resort. They will conclude on Sunday.
 
A highlight is a parade from The Paradiso to 3 Presidents square in Guaymas. From there they will deliver their "Toys for Tots program throughout Guaymas. Click on the poster for the entire weekend schedule.

This event will be on November 29, it'll start at 9:30 a.m. from the Tiger bridge (International road to Hermosillo), the participants will pass throw Robinson's Canyon, and they will finish in San Carlos.

Registration: $60.00 pesos

10th Annual Rescate Melodrama
megaphoneThere will be a casting call for the 10th annual Rescate Melodrama at 1PM, on December 12 at Club Deportivo. This years Melodrama is Cannibal Isle. We are looking for the bravest folks in San Carlos to get up on the stage and forget their lines. It is always a great time so if you want to perform please come to the cast call. Any questions call Gloria Richer 227-0054. The Melodrama is scheduled for March 15th and 16th.

PERFORMANCE ARTS COUNCIL 
 

flaminWhat better way to celebrate the Spanish culture than to have Flamenco Dancers. In January, Julia Chacon and her group will introduce us to the art and history of flamenco.

In February, the Banda de Musica del Estado de Sonora will once again bring the alluring and exciting music of Mexico to us. If you missed this two years ago, you don't want to make the same mistake.

To end the season in March, The Sahnas Brothers will take us to Greece with their guitars and vocal renditions. I heard them in Sedona 6 years ago and they are amazing.

Don't miss this very International selection of performances. Please get your season tickets quickly as they are limited.
